Carolyn Mark & Friends - Six Shooter - July 25, 2006

Have you ever just walked into a tiny neighbourhood CD shop/art gallery and had the girl behind the cash register hand you a nice cold beer? That happened to me and about 30 other people last night at Six Shooter Records' east end store on Danforth.

I'm sure there would have been more people there, but 30 is about all that would fit in this 10 x 20 foot space when one end was occupied by the lovely and talented Carolyn Mark and her fellow musicians.

Since the store opened earlier this year, there was also an awesome backyard BBQ out there with a mini musical festival of its own coinciding with NXNE in June. That event is still featured in the Showcase section of this site as I write this. Check it out before it disappears.

Tuesday's event was a cozy little affair that will be remembered by all for quite some time.

My photo collection tells more than I can say here. My apologies if any performer or audience member is offended by my tongue-in-cheek captions.
