Going to Vancouver this weekend?

I rarely mention out-of-town gigs because that's not the point of this site. But, for fun, I'm mentioning one for this weekend that's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy out of town... Vancouver!


I've learned that a lot of live music people are also skiers in the winter. And, since western Canada has the best snow in the entire world this year, it's possible that some Torontonians might be on their way to Whistler and need something to do on Saturday night in Vancouver, before heading north.

OK... it's a stretch, but if you find yourself in that predicament, go see the Shithead himself. He has a new CD to release and perform.

Joe "Shithead" Keithley, as you probably know, heads up DOA, Canada's ultimate original punk band.

He's also head honcho of Sudden Death records.

What makes this gig especially important is that the Furies are also going to be there. Most of you are too young to remember (because you weren't born yet), but this band is legendary.

And, they haven't played in 29 fucking years. That's going to be one awesome show. I wish I could make it, but my next Vancouver trip isn't until March.
